boAt 454 ANC earbuds come with 10 mm dynamic drivers with SBC / AAC codec support. These earbuds come with a balanced sound output and we were impressed with them. The trebles, vocals, and instrument separation were detailed and as a music lover, you are gonna every beat of it.
For the bass part, it has a balanced bass output with a thumpy bass effect. You might feel the boAt signature bass missing out but the overall sound output is on point.
Calling Experience
Quad Microphone setup with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology provides an amazing calling experience. In indoor conditions the call experience is superb, and in outdoor conditions, the calling experience is pretty good. The vocals were focused upon and most of the background activities were cancelled out. So, if you are doing work from home or into regular meetings and calls, then you can consider this earbud.
Application Support
boAt flex 454 ANC Earbuds come with boat Hearables application support. On the home page of the earbuds, you get the battery percentage indicator along with the options to switch between ANC, default, and ambient mode.
The application allows you to customize the touch controls. The best part about these earbuds and application is the boAt Smart Talk feature, which allows you to give voice commands to earbuds for example, if you are getting an incoming call then you can simply accept the call by saying "Accept" and reject the call by saying "Reject".
