Design and Build Quality
The Boult audio earbuds come in a uniquely built case. The case comes with a rubber finish that provides an impressive grip, and as it is portable you can easily carry the earbuds with you. On the front side of the earbuds is a Boult branding along with a battery indicator light, and a charging port on the bottom side of the case. There is no such button provided in the case to reset your earbuds.
The earbuds are held tightly inside the case and they do not fall off from the case. The earbuds are stem-shaped with a glossy finish and boult branding on both the earbuds. Using proper ear tips, they provide a secure and comfortable fit. Wearing the earbuds easily cancels out 80% of the background noise.

Boult Audio Z40 earbuds come with the latest Bluetooth version 5.3 which provides amazing and long-lasting connectivity with your device.

Gaming Test
These Boult Audio earbuds come with a dedicated gaming mode with 45 ms low latency. You can access the gaming mode directly from your earbuds by pressing any earbuds four times. We tried the gaming mode of the earbuds with a BGMI game test and the earbuds impressed us. The volume, stereo separation, and in-audio experience were amazing, you could easily identify if the enemy was coming from left or right.
Overall, if you are looking for an earbud with a good gaming experience then you can definitely consider this earbud.
Sound Quality
With 10 mm dynamic drivers and SBC / AAC codec support, you get decent sound output with this pair of earbuds. The volume and vocals are pretty good in the earbuds, but the trebles and instrument separation could have been improved.
Speaking about the sound leakage, on sitting in a quite place there will be a slight leakage on listening above 90% volume.
The bass in earbuds is pretty decent. You will get the thumpy bass but the powerful boosted bass is missing. As a bass lover, you might feel that something is missing.
Calling Test
Boult Audio Z40 Pro earbuds come with a quad microphone setup with an environmental noise cancellation feature. In indoor conditions the call experience is amazing, and in outdoor conditions, the calling experience is pretty good. The vocals were focused upon and even though it caught some background noise the focus on vocals was pretty good in heavy traffic. So, if you are doing work from home or into regular meetings and calls, then you can consider this earbud.
