Hoppup TWS comes in a compact rectangle-shaped case with matte finish, and a premium look and feel case. It comes with Hoppup branding on the front, a charging port at the bottom and the best part is you get a digital battery percentage indicator on the left side of the case.
The earbuds are held tightly inside the case using proper magnets and they do not fall from the case. They are small in size, stem-shaped earbuds with a combination of matte and glossines. On wearing proper earcups, they provide a secure and comfortable fit. We did a little bit of workout while wearing the earbuds, and we can say that the overall fit of the earbuds is impressive. On wearing the earbuds it easily blocks 70 to 75% of the external volume.
These earbuds come with water water-resistant feature that keeps your earbuds safe from splashes of water and sweat. The water-resistant feature and secure fit make it a great companion for your workouts.
Connectivity
Whether you are a gamer, or a music lover connectivity will not be an issue with this earbud, as it comes with the latest Bluetooth version 5.3 which ensures a secure connection.
Impressive Battery Life
The Hoppup D505 True Wireless Earbuds come with an impressive battery life keeping in mind that it comes at just 899/- launch price. You can easily enjoy 7 to 8 hours of playback time on a single charge, and using the charging case the battery life gets extended to a whopping 50 hours. Also, it comes with a Rapid Charging feature which many earbuds at this price point do not give. Using the rapid charging feature you can get 90 minutes of playback time by just charging the earbuds for 10 minutes.
Touch Controls
Hoppup earbuds come with full touch controls starting from playing / pausing music to accepting / rejecting the call, increasing / decreasing volume to entering / exiting the game mode, and much more. The full-touch controls in these earbuds make your life easier and smoother, as everything can be controlled just with a few taps.
You can understand the complete workings of the touch controls in our YouTube video - here.
Gaming Test
Hoppup Airdoze D505 TWS comes with a 40 ms low latency Gaming Mode - named Rage Mode. You can enter / exit the Rage Mode by pressing any earbuds five times. After taking a gaming test with BGMI we can say that you can definitely consider this earbud for gaming purposes. The loudness and in-audio experience are impressive, also the stereo-separation is amazing which makes it easy for you to understand if the enemy is coming from left or right.
Sound Quality
With 10 mm dynamic drivers, and SBC / AAC codec support the overall sound quality is amazing. The vocals, and trebles are on point, but the instrument separation could have been improved. Overall, the sound output is pretty good and you will enjoy it.
But if you are a bass lover you are going to definitely love this earbud because of the powerful boosted and thumpy bass it comes with.
Call Quality
With the Dual microphone and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) feature, and after taking a call test in outdoor conditions we felt that the calling feature of the earbuds is pretty justified. The loudness is adequate, and even though it catches some background activities, there is a lot of focus on the vocals of the speaker.
